23 weeks
Been feeling John kick frequently now. Marc was able to feel him too! Getting ready for Christmas but I can't wait until next Christmas with our little man. He will be 7 months old then. My energy is still dragging, but I feel pretty good otherwise.
Your Baby in Week 23 of Pregnancy
Your little doll-sized babe is about to chub up a bit. His saggy skin will start to fit his frame as fat deposits fill things out. Beginning this week, he'll start to pack on the pounds (which means you will too!) and by month's end he'll be double the weight he is now (though you won't be — whew!). Right now, your baby's organs and bones are visible through his skin, which has a red hue due to developing veins and arteries beneath. But once those fat deposits settle in, he'll become less transparent.

Halfway there
Well I have hit 20 weeks, halfway to the finish line. Atleast this one. The semester is almost over and I am so ready for it to be done.
Symptoms: Tired still, hungry all the time
Up 10 pounds from the pre-pregnancy weight.
No real cravings, just whatever hits me at the time.
He has been kicking and moving like crazy now.
20 Weeks: Baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana.

Our little baby is a boy! To be named John Andrew. Very healthy and measuring right on track. During the ultrasound he wouldn't uncross his legs, had the hiccups and kept putting his hands over his face.

10/28/2010 Got an ultrasound today, after a little bleeding scare. Everything is just fine. Silly baby is laying face down with it's legs tucked under it. 15 weeks
17 week bump
Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints.
16 week bump
Tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And an ultrasound might be able to determine gender.

15 week bump
Baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. The fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.

10-22 May have felt the baby move today. Weird little fluttery feeling.
Cravings: Still oranges and pickles
Feeling: No more nausea, more energy. Began cleaning the office out to make way for the nursery. Really busy and stressed with school.
Not baby related: I was nominated for Who's Who among American College Students and Marc found out he was accepted to grad school! (I knew he would!)
10-26 Had my appt today. Heartbeat of 166
Made the big appointment to find out the gender November 30th!

Nursery
Since I am an interior design student and a planner; I have started to look at how I am going to decorate the nursery. I plan to do it somewhat gender neutral (so I can reuse the nursery items for a future 2nd child) also if I have a girl I don't want an overly pink room.

First Trimester
August 16th we found out that we are expecting our first baby. Seeing that second line was quite a wonderful surprise. We immediately went to get prenatal vitamins and tell the parents that they were going to be Grandparents! The reactions were wonderful as I expected.
4 weeks 4 days
How I was feeling: Emotionally; excited.
Physically; nauseous, exhausted
Craving; crackers and ginger ale (all I could keep down)
During pregnancy week 12, the baby's brain is starting to make hormones, and nerve cells are multiplying at a rapid rate. The baby may be sucking as early as this week. The baby is 2.2 inches long and weighs up to half an ounce

Baby's Development:
Heartbeat: 169
The baby is completely formed. The baby’s head becomes a major part of the baby; in fact the baby’s head is about half the length of the body. The fingers and toes are separated completely and the baby’s bones are starting to harden. The baby measures in around 2-1/2” and weighs about a half an ounce. In this stage, the baby will be able to swallow and urinary system is working as well. All of the organs are now fully formed.
October 7th
12 weeks
How I am feeling; Good, more energy, not getting alot of sleep, weird dreams
Cravings; orange flavor, pickles, oreos
Now I am officially out of the first trimester!
